How does the Annual Print Series work?
The Annual print series (APS) releases will be pre-announced via our mailing list + social media and made available for purchase during a pre-established period of time. It is a ‘once a year’ time-limited print edition, which means it will be sized based on the number of prints we sell during that period. Once the period of pre-sales finishes, the series is produced and never reprinted.
The APS idea started in 2011, releasing one print edition every year since then.
When will I receive my item?
For the Annual Print Series releases, the edition size will be determined after the sale and then put into production, so please allow an estimated 4-6 weeks for shipment.
Other items in the shop usually ship within a week. Delivery times will vary depending on your location and chosen shipping method. You’ll get an email from us with purchase confirmation and when your order ships, with tracking information.
Shipping rates for overseas clients are included in the price of the pieces. We estimated a fixed price based on an average value including packaging, we use high-quality packing materials to protect your items for the trip.
Our international shipping charges do not include the destination country’s duty, tax or customs fees. If applicable, these will be assessed upon delivery. We cannot and will not falsely report on an item’s value to help you avoid these fees.
Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and items will sometimes get tied up in customs for weeks, so please be patient.
Just be sure we will make everything in our power to minimize delays as much as possible.
Pieces on paper (prints & original drawings)
Please note that even though all the pieces on paper are done on 100% cotton papers of extremely high quality, it’s very important that you keep it away from moisture and humidity. Original works on paper need care and attention, do not leave them on places/walls with the risk of water damage, it will last for generations if its being taken good care of.
Our advice for original pieces on paper is to use museum grade framing (acid and moisture free materials, uv light filters etc). However, we understand the high cost of such products and if you go for cheaper framing options, just be careful to where you will place/hang it. Cheaper frames are NOT a problem, they just require a little more attention from time to time regarding its current structural state and humidity absorption over time.
For your print editions we advise to frame your piece in a glass panel sandwich (two glass panels with the piece in the middle) to guarantee the integrity of the paper against humidity, given the editions are often released in medium/large sizes. Print editions are produced with mineral pigments, so the direct contact with the glass panel offers no risk to the piece.
